After serving in two branches of the U.S. Military, Blake Berretta returned home to Memphis to embark on a distinguished career in law enforcement, spanning numerous years.
In the early 1990s, Blake delved into the study of the defensive use of handguns. His fascination with violence and the psychology behind it has been a lifelong pursuit, spanning over three decades.
In 1996, Blake attained certification as an NRA Certified Pistol Instructor and a State of Tennessee Certified Instructor, marking the beginning of his journey in teaching the Tennessee Handgun Permit Class.
Continuing his dedication to honing his skills, Blake has remained committed to training in the defensive use of handguns for over thirty years, always maintaining the mindset of a perpetual student of the gun.
As a Staff Instructor at Rangemaster in Memphis, under the esteemed guidance of Tom Givens, Blake seized numerous opportunities to train alongside and forge friendships with some of the industry’s leading instructors nationwide.
Blake’s passion lies in imparting his wealth of experience to others, empowering responsible citizens with the skills and knowledge essential for effectively safeguarding themselves and their loved ones.
