Red Dot Handgun Concepts

Red Dot Handgun Concepts is an introduction to Red Dots on Handguns and will prepare you to get the most out of your RDS equipped handgun, allowing you to learn a training method that helps you to avoid time consuming mistakes and take advantage of the benefits of a Red Dot System to make more accurate shots sooner on target.

Skill Level:

  • Must have safe gun handling skills.
  • Able to follow directions from coaches.
  • Basic understanding of your firearm and have used it during practice sessions.
  • This is NOT a new shooter class.

Equipment Needed:

  • Must have RDS Equipped Handgun
  • Extra Magazines
  • Quality Holster – Holsters that collapse (leather, soft, etc.) when drawn will NOT be allowed. NO SERPA HOLSTERS allowed. Holsters can be strong side, inside, outside waistband or appendix.
  • Duty belt/rig is Approved.
  • Concealment garment is NOT required but strongly encouraged. NO concealment with Duty Rig
  • 400 rounds of factory loaded ammunition (suggested to bring at least 100 extra rounds)
  • Sturdy belt for holster and magazine pouches
  • Eye & Ear protection (electronic muffs recommended)
  • Hat with bill
  • No open-toed shoes
  • Hydration and snacks
